The Skyride was actually designed to replace the original 'chair lift' as a quick way around the park, because it had a higher throughput and was much more reliable. The first station is in Towers Street so you can jump straight on it when you enter the park. It goes straight up to Forbidden Valley where you can choose to get off to face Nemesis or stay on and head over to Ugland. Once you reach Ugland however you must get off and more people board for the return journey.
It is not classed as an actual ride and is only used to get around quickly.
Tip: Sometimes the queues can get long at Forbidden Valley and Ugland as people want to skip the gardens. It may be a better idea to walk as you'll get there quicker and you can burn off some of the Macdonald's you've eaten before getting on another ride. Beware of 'the stitch' however. |
