 Awaiting De-tox.

Up she goes

What happens next?

Here it comes.

There's your answer. De-tox complete.

Due to enforced height restrictions enforced on the park the Thunder Looper was not allowed in the 1997 line-up. Something had to take it's place. Blade took the place of the station and Ripsaw took the rest.

At first it seemed very odd for Alton to install a top-spin (as the manufacturers call it) because Chessington had installed one, Rameses Revenge. The Alton one was smaller though. While those who wanted to stay dry on Rameses could sit at the end, Ripsaw does not have these extra seats and everybody gets drowned.

At first Ripsaw's theme was a weapon (a saw) to destroy Nemesis, along with Blade but over time this has change to being a de-tox after being in the post-apocalyptic area of Forbidden valley and near Nemesis.

This ride is a worthy addition to Forbidden Valley and is worth riding as it swallows queues pretty quickly. If you have XRT on Nemesis and find you've been on Nemesis enough for now then jump on Ripsaw quickly as it opens for a quick respite.

Tip: Hold on tight to loose articles or leave them in the baskets provided.
